Benalla Lifeball
Location
The Benalla Lifeball Group meets
once a week at the "Benalla Indoor Recreation Centre" in
Ackerly Ave, adjacent to the main railway crossing Nunn St Benalla.
History
Benalla was the first Lifeball
Group to be initiated in Victoria in 2003; was ably assisted in its
formation by Lifeball's Master Trainer Colleen Wilson-Lord and later
by the Deniliquin Lifeball Group.

Play
Monday in the hotter months
December to March.
The group meets mornings at
9.15am to
11.00am.
The rest of the year the group
meets in the afternoon at 1.15pm
to 3.00pm. The group
breaks for the latter three weeks of December and January, also
Easter Monday.
Cost
$20 to umbrella body U3A per
annum.
$5 to Lifeball Australia per
annum.
$3 hall fee per day - charge
includes tea/coffee and biscuits.
Facilities
Benalla has three (3) indoor
courts, a large meeting room, kitchen, toilets, disabled
toilets and tea/coffee room.
Format
(a) On arrival pay and
sign in.
(b) Warm up body, plus
eye, ball, hand coordination.
(c) Game. 4,5,6,
sessions subject to numbers attending.
(d) Cool down.
(e) Social cuppa.
Activities
Regularly visit Deniliquin,
Myrtleford, Wangaratta and Wodonga for their "Fun and Friendship
Days" besides conducting our own F & FD. One of the biggest in
Australia (100+).
Conducts regular "Umpire
Training Days" for the surrounding groups.
