La Trobe University has been a generous supporter of U3A Bendigo since its inception, with support including the provision of our premises at peppercorn rental. This is one part of the university's extensive involvement in the Bendigo and Central Victorian community.

The university also offers U3A members the right to audit most university lectures. "Auditing" means sitting in on lectures but does not include tutorials or any other study functions. Members wishing to audit lectures should discuss their proposal with the U3A Courses Co-ordinator. In some cases a group of members who are auditing the same lectures can form discussion groups at our rooms as a self-actuated tutorial.
