Tsinghua University Alumni Association in Melbourne (TUAAM) was established in May 1999. The goal of this association is to establish close relationships among all Tsinghua alumni in Victoria and in Australia, and to strengthen the links between Australia and China in various fields of science and technology. This association is a non-profit organization. 

All former Tsinghua students and staff members are eligible for the membership of TUAAM. Membership will be approved once the application form and membership fees are received. Currently, there are 73 registered members in TUAAM.
