War Memorial, Tarnagulla,c 1920

This War Memorial was erected in memory of Tarnagulla's fallen hero's in World War I. It was unveiled on 8 November 1919 by Brig-General Brand C.B., C.M.G., D.S.O.,
The Tarnagulla Band played and E. Jowett M.H.R., J.W. Pennington M.L.A., and the President of the Shire of Bet Bet Cr. O'Brien all attended.

This photo was taken by Percy Robert Simms. He was an English photographer of some repute. For some reason he was in Tarnagulla in about 1920 and took a number of interesting photographs
