Sabbath Hill Tunnel, 2015

This is all that remains of Tarnagulla's longest tunnel, or adit. The tunnel, which is close to 200 feet in length, was driven east to west into Sabbath Hill with the intention of locating the Growler's and Sabbath Reefs, but fell short of its target.

The tunnel was driven prior to 1862, and was extended a short distance by Bedford and party in about 1960.
