Telegram to Thomas Comrie re declaration of the Poll for North Western Province June 1897

Thomas Comrie nominated as a candidate for the North Western Province in the Legislative Council of Victoria for the 1897 Election. However before the election the only other candidate withdrew and Thomas Comrie was advised by telegram by the Returning Officer that he would declare Thomas elected on Thursday 3 June 1897 at the Court House at St Arnaud.
