Thomson & Comrie Invoice c 1870
Every time there was a gold strike in the vicinity of Tarnagulla, George Thomson and Thomas Comrie would have some sort of store erected on the field by the next morning selling shovels, gold panning dishes and provisions to the diggers. Some of these developed into much more substantial structures.
It seems the store at Jones's Creek may have closed by the time this invoice was printed.
