"Granny "Scholes, nee Harriet Gallienne, born Island of Guernsey, 23rd April 1838, migrated to Australia with her parents Nicholas and Rachel Gallienne in 1850. She married Robert Scholes of Waanyarra and would have been around the age of 90 when this photo was taken. Some of her decendents still live in the area.
