Cresside Collette

Cresside trained as a graphic artist and designer at RMIT, obtaining a Diploma of Graphic Art in 1970, and was a foundation and senior weaver for the Victorian Tapestry Workshop from 1976 to 90. She has been an exhibiting artist in embroidery and tapestry since 1971, including three solo exhibitions and over fifteen group shows in Australia and overseas. Cresside was awarded an Overseas Study Grant by the Crafts Board of the Australia Council in 1979 to undertake Post Graduate studies in the Tapestry Department, Edinburgh College of Art.
