Andrew McQualter - 1992

I had a regular route home from the VCA, where I was studying, to the place where I was living in Gertrude Street. This route was chosen to take in a number of places I found significant.

I would leave school at around 6.30pm and walk into the city. Then up Collins Street, then through the Fitzroy Gardens, and then along George Street to Gertrude Street.

I had been living in Melbourne for 11 months.
