Computer welcome

The Lakeview Lodge Hostel at Nagambie welcomed the recent delivery of a computer kindly donated by Thales (formely ADI) Benalla and distributed by Bill Sykes MP.

Edna James, Activities Coordinator at the hospital and hostel said that the computer would provide hostel residents and those involved in the Adult Day Care Program the challenging and enjoyable opportunity to discover the basics of computer operation.

Dr Sykes said, “Through the generosity of Thales we have been able to distribute over 50 computers to local community groups over the past two years.

“Fortunately we still have a small number of computers still on hand so any group interested in accessing a computer should contact my office ph: 5762 2100.
