SYKES – MEDIA ALERT – SUPPORT THROUGH SHIRE STORM

The Nationals Member for Benalla, Bill Sykes, will tour over storm damaged areas of the Mansfield Shire tomorrow with Shire CEO, Garry Gaffney, to see first hand the extent of the damage and the costs to the local community and Shire.

Dr Sykes said, “Armed with this first hand account I will support Mansfield Shire’s proposed request to the Victorian Government for financial support to clean up after this week’s violent storms.

I will also maintain contact with other badly hit areas such as the Murrindindi Shire and Alpine Shire and support any proposals they put to State Government.
