SYKES CALLS FOR LOCAL NOMINATIONS FOR REGIONAL AWARDS

The Nationals Member for Benalla, Bill Sykes, encourages locals to nominate for the 2005 Regional Achievement and Community Awards.

Dr Sykes said, “In my capacity as a member of Parliament I come in contact with worthy nominees for these awards almost every day. We are extremely lucky to have such an active community in this area and it would be wonderful to see it acknowledged.

“I urge local individuals, businesses, events and tourism operators, environmental groups and community groups that are making a difference to consider nominating… it’s well worth it!

Australia Post Business Achievement Award;

Australia Post Events and Tourism Awards;

Parks Victoria Regional Achiever Award;

Parks Victoria Environment and Sustainability Award;
