The
editor receives the names of intending members from the coordinator.
She contacts the new member for a contribution and includes a copy of
the information sheet and letter, making sure the member understands her
responsibilities |

| 2 | The
editor receives contributions from members monthly, and compiles these into
a magazine format. She sends a
magazine out regularly (usually on or about 1st of each month).
A total of eleven magazines should be sent around each year, no
magazine being compiled in January |

| 3 | The
editor is responsible for: |
|

a) |
assembling and circulating the magazine each month | |
|
b) |
when the magazine has completed its round, disassembling and returning
submissions and comment sheets in supplied SSAEs |
|
|
c) |
contacting members who have failed to contribute for two
consecutive months |
|
| 4 | The Editor notifies the co-ordinator of any membership changes (name, address, telephone number or resignation). | |
| 5 | The editor may organise competitions between members. | |
| 6 | The editor advises the co-ordinator of any problems that might arise within your group, be it general or specific. | |
| 7 | ||
| 8 | The
editor informs the co-ordinator if unable to perform duties for any reason,
e.g. illness or
holidays. The co-ordinator will
make arrangements where possible to continue with the collating and
distribution of members’ contributions. |

| 9 | The
editor keeps
proper records of disbursement of all monies and also copies of
correspondence/emails |
|
| 10 | Each editor submits an annual report to the co-ordinator at least one month prior to the AGM. The co-ordinator uses theses reports as a basis for her annual report for the AGM. | |
| 11 | Editors
receive an honorarium to cover out-of-pocket expenses |
