HOW TO WRITE A GREAT SEX SCENE

with Sydney Smith Story Whisperer

What makes a great sex scene? It might be graphic, with lots of physical detail, or it might be more emotional, but something makes it involving. This workshop will look at sex scenes in commercial and literary fiction and discuss what makes them sizzle.

We will discuss what kind of sex scene you want to write, where your limits lie and where you want to push them. And you will do exercises that address the compelling nature of a sex scene.

Dates: 11 and 12 May, 2013

Time: 10am-4pm

Venue: Ross House, 247 Flinders Lane, Melbourne

Cost: $230 or early bird*: $180 (*for payments made by 15 March)
