Portable Iron Houses short story competition

The National Trust of Australia (Victoria) and the City of Port Phillip are launching a short story writing competition 
about the Portable Iron Houses, South Melbourne.
The competition is to write a story that includes the Iron Houses: an imagination of who lived there, 
their use as backdrop to another story, their relocation.
Poems and prose, fiction and non-fiction will be accepted.
A research day and creative writing class will be held at the Iron Houses on Saturday 9 March.

Positive Words Short Story & Poetry Competition 2013

Closing date : Entires must be postmarked by 23 April 2013
A.   Open Short Story : up to 2000 words. B. Open Poetry : up to 48 lines.
