Poetry – poem to 60 lines
Short Story to 1200 words
Non-fiction – to 1200 words
All work must be unpublished and have never won a major
prize in any competition.
Up to two entries per category.
All manuscripts to be double spaced on one side of
paper with only title of entry and page number appearing on each page of the
manuscript.
Entrant’s name, pseudonym, or pen name must not
appear anywhere on the manuscript.
Each entry is to have a cover sheet attached showing
only the name of the category of the competition, title of entry and total word
count. Line count for poetry.
Each entry must be accompanied by an entry form.
Send copies only. Entries will not be returned.
The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence
will be entered into.
Winners will be announced and awards presented at the
Christmas Luncheon on
Friday 23
November 2012 at the Wheeler Centre.
