  • Annual Christmas Toys Appeal far Disadvantaged Children.

  • Breast Cancer Research program at Western General Hospital.

  • Assistance in establishment of L.E.C, in Western Suburbs.

  • Paint Your Heart Out - Painting of homes of elderly citizens.

  • Tuberculosis control program with Tibetan refugees at the Delek Hospital, Dharamsala in Northern India.

  • Member involvement in FAIM projects in PNG and Solomons Islands.

  • Solar Hot Water System, Suva Orphanage, Fiji.

  • Two Rotary Ambassadorial Scholars; Elizabeth Collins and Ngaire Elwood sent overseas for Post-Graduate studies.

  • Youth exchange -- ten overseas students hosted; ten local students sponsored for overseas studies.

Others

  • In May, 1976 (under President Bob James) the club organised the District Assembly, which was held at the Sunshine High School; 450 delegates were catered for at Goldenreagh.

  • In 1994, in conjunction with the R.C. of Footscray, the club organised the formation of the R.C. of Maribyrnong-Highpoint.

  • Many members of the Rotary Club of Sunshine have been recognised as Paul Harris Fellows.
