In May, 1976 (under President Bob James) the club organised the District
Assembly, which was held at the Sunshine High School; 450 delegates
were catered for at Goldenreagh.

In 1994, in conjunction with the R.C.
of Footscray, the club organised the formation of the R.C.
of Maribyrnong-Highpoint.
- Many members of the Rotary Club of Sunshine have been recognised as
Paul Harris Fellows.
