  Father's Day

By Matthew Jose

Some thoughts from the everyday experiences of being a dad:
"Why I like being a Dad"
you get lots of hugs and kisses, but not when you've got shaving cream on.
you always have company whether you're getting dressed or going to the toilet.
you have to say good-bye to everyone 3 times in the morning because the first 2 times didn't count.
yours is the favourite car because it is a lot older and bumpier than mum's.
when you try to get back in the door at night time. you always have 1, 2, or 3 children hanging off your leg
you get to read the same story again and again and again …… and again, but you worry when you realize that your children know it better than you
  the sitting, talking and sharing.

  never being lonely.

going on great adventures and doing things at someone else's pace rather than your own.
stopping to enjoy the little things in life and teaching others to enjoy them too.
but the best thing is having their mum to share this all with.
