Edward is a management consultant, project manager, engineer and business
researcher. He held senior positions in business corporations and actively
involved in consulting, project management, operations management and business
development. Edward has a Master Degree in Engineering from the University of
Warwick UK and a PhD in business management from Swinburne University of Technology Australia. Edward lives mostly in Australia, Malaysia
and Taiwan but travel the globe for work. He speaks English, Mandarin,
Cantonese, Hakka, Malay and basic Japanese.
Edward's consulting assignments span across diverse industries covering
IT business applications implementation, supply chain management, process
improvement, consulting business and practice development. Edward began
his consulting career with a German software firm - SAP, at its' Waldorf
development centre and later with ex-'Big Six' management consulting firms.
He held senior roles with international management consulting firms including
Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (now

Edward is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with Project Management Institute USA. As an experienced consultant, he held project management roles in leading, managing and quality controlling some business process improvement and IT assigments.
Edward is a chartered mechanical and eletrical engineer with the Institution of Engineers in the UK, Australia and APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation). His competencies include manufacturing, information, telecommunications and electronics. Edward was quality assurance engineer with a electronic manufacturing company and manufacturing systems manager with ABB Hong Kong where he was responsible for setting up production processes, procedures, policies and systems for new joint ventures in China.
Edward was a part-time lecturer with Monash University KL campus (previously Sunway College) teaching supply and purchasing management. He researches and publishes extensively on business management issues including corporate & IT strategy, supply chain and business processes improvement. His doctorate research covers the realm of strategic alignment between business and IT. Other academic researches include improvement in production efficiencies and quality management practices.
