Sunday School

When children are baptised we promise to teach, nurture and raise them in the faith. We give thanks for the privilege of walking hand in hand with our children and young adults who share the journey with us at St Paul’s.

Sunday School happens during the first part of the 10 a.m. Sunday Eucharist, during term time. They leave Church after the Children’s Address and return during the Greeting of the Peace.

There are three Sunday School groups:

Junior Kindergarten & Prep 1 and 2
Middle Year 3 to 6
J2A Year 7 onwards

The educational material used is ‘Seasons of the Spirit’ which seeks to provide God's people with lectionary-based, ecumenical resources that empower all ages to be transformed in Christ.

KANGA

Is a half hour of supervised games on Sunday mornings in the hall after the 10.00 a.m. Service – 11.30 a.m. to noon. Children of all ages are welcome. We begin with morning tea and then enjoy a variety of games. This is a great opportunity for parents to spend time getting to know one another over coffee in the Parish Centre.
