Missions

In 2009 our parish raised $500.00 each for the following ABM Projects.

Aboriginal Ministry in Gippsland Diocese

This project supports two Aboriginal Pastors in the Gippsland Diocese based at Lake Tyers and in Morwell. Their ministry helps families with pastoral care in times of bereavement, organising funerals, liaising with Church and other bodies, and also in the running of a Sunday school with Aboriginal elders. Project information can be downloaded here.

Donate directly to this project through AMB (select Ministry at Lake Tyers).

Fishing Activities in Mindanao

This program aims to help disadvantaged families in the coastal community of Mindanao in the Philippines develop viable incomes by providing fishing equipment as well as build a facility to process fish sauce.

Donate directly to this project through AMB (select Small-scale Fishing Activities in Philippines).

Rehabilitation in Oro Province

In November 2007, Cyclone Guba hit the Oro Province on the east coast of PNG and destroyed homes, farms, fresh water supplies and lives. This project is committed to rebuilding these communities.

Donate directly to this project through AMB (select Rehabilitation in Oro Province, PNG).
