Ingredients:

Method:

Pre-heat oven to 350F/190C degrees.

Finely dice onion. Peel and grate carrots.

Soak breadcrumbs in milk.

Mix meats, soaked bread crumbs, eggs, onion, carrot and flour together with the hand. Beat with a wooden spoon until mixture appears light and frothy. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Form the mixture into a loaf in a baking dish. Put the bacon on top, and bake for about 1 1/2 hours. Baste several times during baking with the tomato juice. Slice thinly.
