The Walking Head installation at Heide Museum of Modern Art, Melbourne Australia
The work implemented voice enabled (in this case singing) softbot agent technology developed by Steve Middleton at the Animation and Interactive Media centre in Melbourne Australia 2001 - 2006
The photographs were taken during a private demonstration of the work in October 2006.
The robot walked its podium vocalising a fifth sawtooth wave generated by a genetic alogorithm.
The artist is grateful to Lars Vaupel and Stelarc for their collaboration during deployment of the vocalising softbot agent technology on the robot.
