Steiner craft for sale Handmade Steiner craft gifts are available from us year round and at various markets and stalls from time to time. Please check our events page for upcoming markets. Tri-Nature cleaning products. Tri-Nature is an Australian-owned company that has developed a range of environmentally responsible cleaning and personal care products. These products are not only bio-degradeable, but are created from naturally based materials that have a minimal effect on our delicate environment. They contain no phospates, nitrates, chlorines or petrochemical solvents. No animal products are used, nor are the products tested on animals. The kinder has been using various Tri-Nature products to clean dishes, bench tops, floors and toilets for years. We have decided to become members and sell these wonderful products to you and your extended family to use at home. All profits from these sales go directly to the kinder. We invite our families to buy a brick to lay in the garden path of the new Rudolf Steiner kindergarten at East Bentleigh Primary School (E.B.P.S.) and inscribe it with your personalised message. Why not buy a brick for your children, their grandparents, family or friends so that loved ones can write or draw their own special message of love, hope joy to lay in the kindergarten garden forever. Create a larger 'family' brick, or smaller bricks with individual messages. Simply purchase a voucher that entitles the recipient to personalise a clay paver during special 'brick inscribing and firing' days to be held in the E.B.P.S. Art Room (the site of the kindergarten). All recipients will be notified of the dates well in advance and there will be two days to choose from. COST: Clay pavers. So on Sunday 15 May 2005, a 'KNIT-A-THON' was held to save the Carnegie Rudolf Steiner Pre-School and help us relocate to new premises. Over forty knitters, among a turnout of over 100, knitted donated natural wool into beautiful handmade toys. At the same time, an even greater sense of community was created, with extended families, friends and founding teachers all pulling together. Through sponsorship, donations and a BBQ run by the Carnegie Lions Club, around $1,500 was raised before a single toy was even sold. Awareness of the pre-school's plight was also raised by articles that appeared in two local Leader newspapers before the event, and in both the Herald-Sun and The Age on the following day. Why we need to knit a new kindergarten. The premises our pre-school has rented for 18 years have been sold. We have found the ideal new location but need more funds to bring the building in line with government regulations. The knitathon is one of our fundraising initiatives but there are several other ways you can help. We'll weave your help into a model sustainable kindergarten for future generations of children.
