About our playgroups... Playgroup is a wonderful opportunity for parents and the younger child to come together in the beauty of the kinder environment. It gives parents the time to meet and converse with other parents and children. The Rhythm of Playgroup As in the kinder, playgroup children respond to the rhythm of the day and the seasons. Children spend the first part of the session playing freely then come together for a rhythmic circle with seasonal songs and finger plays. These are repeated over the weeks as the children love the familiarity and rhythm of the songs and verses. After circle time there is a shared blessing and fruit. Children and parents then spend time chatting and playing in or outdoors depending on the weather and mood of the day. At the end of the session, we come together to share a song, a story and then say goodbye until next time. We invite you to attend one session for a one off $15 fee to see for yourself how well it suits you and your child. Please introduce yourself to the playgroup leader when you arrive. If you choose to enrol the $15 will be deducted from the term fees.
