What is Steiner Education? The Steiner philosophy on education for the child under 7, is to ensure the child is nurtured physically, emotionally and spiritually. Play in early childhood is the best preparation for a self-realising adult life. The Steiner Kindergarten endeavours to provide guidance for the young child in an environment which encourages free, creative play - the very lifeblood of childhood. Our kindergarten will also promote respect for the environment in the most meaningful way, by being environmentally sustainable itself. Water tanks, indigenous Australian vegetation and the overall design will all help minimise the impact on the environment. |
