The Stawell Biarri Group for Genealogy Inc.held it's inaugural Western Victoria & South Eastern South Australia Family History Expo in October 2007. The second bi-annual Expo is planned for Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October 2009. The Stawell Entertainment Centre (Town Hall) has been booked and a revised layout will cater for up to 35 exhibitors at a one-stop venue.
The relaxed atmosphere will allow people who have an interest in family history to gather information from a variety of sources, and purchase resources needed to further their research, whilst minimising the cost of travelling. Spring is also an ideal time to visit this region (the Grampians) for an extended stay.
Why not take time to "smell the wildflowers"?
Our catering group has been busy planning the light refreshments menu comprising a range of slices, soup, sandwiches, sausage rolls, biscuits & cheese, tea, coffee and drinks for your enjoyment.
Our major sponsors are:
- Northern Grampians Shire Council
- Gould Genealogy & History
