University of the Third Age group enjoying break

STAWELL - Following another successful year, Stawell University of the Third Age members gathered for their Christmas luncheon at the Lake Fyans Holiday Park Bistro.

Members enjoyed the outing and the three course meal at the superb venue looking out over the lake.

Six members who form a singing group, provided entertainment between courses and the U3A members are grateful for all the time and effort that went into the presentation. All in attendance were amazed at their hidden talents.

Stawell U3A will now enjoy a break and will resume classes at the Patrick Street Community Centre on Friday, February 3.

U3A is not only a learning group, where members can choose to attend any courses that are of interest to them, with no exams or pressure, it also has social outings such as bushwalks, social dining out, fun afternoons and whatever members are interested in and request.

Anyone may join Stawell U3A on any Friday at 1pm and see what it is all about.
