Mr
Daniel Berk
candidate
for Clayton
|
In
the local paper The Leader Mr Berk was quoted as saying In
the long term... the Democrats.. are interested in looking at ways
of reducing the urban sprawl and that means we need to give some
consideration to housing development within the metropolitan areas,
but at the same time those developments need to have facilities
that give residents quality of life, such as parks.
The
paper reports Mr Berk as saying that the long campaign by
residents to save Federation Park showed how important green space
was in Oakleigh South.
