Lots of kids are affected
For a start 500 kids at the Oakleigh South Primary School will have a less spacious and attractive environment for learning, playing and doing sport if the land gets sold off for housing.

Many children from surrounding areas and schools who use the land for sporting activities would also lose out.

Kids count
Kids can feel strongly about issues that affect them. As well as playing organized sport lots of children use this land as playing space or simply enjoy the feeling of freedom and well-being that being surrounded by green space gives them.
