The Twilight Series

The Twilight Series runs from the beginning of December to the end of January.

Points are accumulated in three Divisions. The allocation of boats to Divsions is determined at the beginning of the Series and is based on each boat's performance over the previous Series. Both Yardstick and Performance Handicap System, PHS, results are presented.

In a typical year there are over 7 completed races that make up the Twilight Series. There is one race on each sailing day (every Saturday excluding a period just before and after Christmas/New Year). Unlike all other races through the year, Twilight Series races begin at 16:00. It is the Yardstick result that is used to calculate the series place getters.

Trophies are awarded for first second and third in each of the three Divsions.

Twilight race results are not used to calculate a result for the Championship Series.
