Series Aggregates

Sugarloaf Sailing & Boating Club aggregates results from the years racing into 4 series, Championship, Winter, Summer and Twilight. The object is to encourage competition over set periods such that individuals can choose to race competitively in a Series or number of Series that best suits. There are some races, however, that are not not aggregated. These are referred to as Special races.

The Series are run over different times of the year and the constituent races can be different in nature. For example, the Winter Series is made up of two short course races on each race day.

The "Low Points" system is used to aggregate results. A first = 0.75 points, a second = 2 points, a third = 3 points and so on. Refer to Result Calculation Notes
