Congratulations to all athletes who competed at Region on the Weekend an outstanding effort by all! A big well done to our Team Manager, Steve Rodwell on his first event day for the year. Well done TEAM SUNBURY!!!!

Sunbury is having its first ever Cross Country Open Day on the 05 July 2009. First race starts at 10am. Registration forms need to be completed by 27th June otherwise late fees are included.

Geelong Open Day was held today we had one representative of Sunbury head all the way to Geelong to compete. Congratulations to Cody Rodwell who came 2nd in his run. An outstanding effort.

Today we had the Northern Metro Division One Open Day. Well done to all who represented Sunbury. We had a great day with many athletes running great times. Here are some pictures from the day. A big congratulations to those who received medals.

Over the last two weekends, Sunbury Little Athletes have competed at Coburg and Sunbury. See link above for the latest results. A regular band of athletes are competing every week and are performing very well.

The Region Cross Country Championships will be held at Coburg on Sat 27 June. The following events will be conducted for each age group:

Those interested in competing need to contact the Team Manager (Steve Rodwell) by Friday 12 June. Teams of 3 in each age group can also enter.

Any registered Sunbury little athlete can enter this event - so all are encouraged to participate!!

The State Cross Country Championships will be held at Bundoora Park, Bundoora on Sun 26 July. Once again, contact the Team Manager as soon as possible if you are interested in competing.

Once again, over 20 Sunbury little athletes competed in Cross Country at the Keilor venue last Saturday.

Next Saturday, the competition comes to Sunbury commencing at 0900 at Jackson's Reserve.

23 Sunbury little athletes competed at Essendon last Saturday in the 2nd cross country event for the season. Results are now available. The program this Sat will be held at Keilor.

18 Sunbury little athletes competed at the first cross country event for the season at Essendon. Results are now available.

Just a reminder that the Cross Country Season commences on Saturday 2 May at the Essendon venue.

Activities commence at 0900; registration opens at 0830. Please note that your existing registration also covers the Cross Country season.

The full Cross Country timetable will be made available when finalised by the Region. Usually three events are run in Sunbury at Jackson Street Reserve adjacent the Pony Club.

A number of Cross Country Open Days are also held; see dates and venues in our Season Calendar.

Please note that the Cross Country season kicks off on Saturday, 2 May 09 at the Essendon venue. Activities commence at 0900. Please note that your existing registration covers the Cross Country season.

As a result of the recent AGM, the committee for Season 0910 has now been established.

If you would like to become involved as an event day official, please contact a Committee member.

Please note that at the Annual General Meeting on Sunday all Committee positions become vacant and are subject to re-election for next season.

A list of positions is attached. If you would like more information about a specific role, pls approach an existing Committee member.

Everyone is encouraged to put their names forward for their preferred role; in order to get more involved in the activities of the Club and enhance the experience for our kids.

Nomination slips will be available at the Clubrooms on Sunday before the AGM.
