Karen Berger - Musical Director/Performer

Karen has a Bachelor of Music Performance majoring in voice from the Victorian College of the Arts. She has worked in Australia, Britain and Europe as an actor, musician and singer, including founding her own a cappella group Mother Tongue, performing with the Astra Choir, and being a musician/singer with original Celtic band Shillelagh. Karen also has a strong theatre and movement background, having trained in Europe with Jaques Lecoq, Phillipe Gaulier and Theatre de Complicite. Walk on Water’s musical direction has been defined by Karen’s familiarity with Celtic music and skills in improvisation.
