The Police Stables

Built about 1869

The stables were very well built - even after the bricks were removed to make a doorway, little movement occurred.

The Historical Society has a copy of the plans of some of the Police buildings, and the stable and four horse stalls are shown.

From the back lane can be seen four wooden louvres - probably original.
