Our Muzaffarabad Project centres on a vision to create a ‘Village’ to assist the many orphans and widows now living in the Muzaffarabad region of Azad Kashmir. It will be developed under the guidelines of the SAA, statement of purpose; e.g. to provide safety, food, shelter and education. The Muzaffarabad Project is currently in a feasibility, developmental, and design stage. SAA is currently awaiting itemized construction estimates and has an architect working on development planning for a ‘Village’ style facility to be constructed in stages as needs become apparent and funds become available. There will be a need for substantial ongoing funding. This will be sought in the form of grants from a variety of service organisations in Pakistan and Australia and via SAA fundraising initiatives and charitable and individual donations.
