on the River

Welcome to the "Shakespeare on the River Festival" in Stratford, Gippsland, Victoria, Australia.   

The "Shakespeare on the River" Festival is a diverse community celebration of  theatre, music, visual arts and folkloric skills presented by the Stratford on Avon Shakespeare Association. 

The Festival begins in the first week in May every year with over twenty events over the next ten days.  The region contain many points of scenic beauty including the Gippsland Lakes, Ninety mile beach and numerous National Parks.
