Centred on Nillumbik, Banyule, Manningham and surrounding areas in Melbourne’s north-eastern suburbs, APS Yarra Yarra is a group of plant lovers dedicated to:
  • Growing Australian native plants
  • Conserving native plants
  • Learning from each other
  • To increase and disseminate general knowledge of Australian plants
Expertise in the group varies from specialist to novice. The organisation is a non-profit, independent, incorporated community organisation.
Activities

    • Information on plants suited to local gardens
    • Solutions to garden problems
    • Plant sales
  • Regular visits and outings to bushland areas and members' gardens.
  • Autumn plant sale and Spring flower show.
A new movie CD has been made detailing how to graft Eremophilas in a step by step method. It has been released to coincide with the FJS Rogers Seminar on Eremophilas in October 2008. The CD sells for $12.50 and runs for 33 minutes. To purchase or for more information email p.hempel@optusnet.com.au
