| Response Area
Our Unit responds to emergencies in the Shire of Nillumbik,
some parts of the City of Banyule and a small part of
the City of Whittlesea. The area is quite large and it
extends up to the base of the Kinglake Ranges.
As we are the State Emergency Service, sometimes we are
asked to repsond to communities in other areas of Victoria
or other States as part of a task force with other VICSES
units for events such as severe storms and floods, building
collapse or land searches.
