There is a new VICSES flood and storm damage phone number.
Call 132 500 from anywhere in Victoria
for emergency VICSES assistance in a flood or storm. It
is the same cost as a local call in Victoria (mobiles
may be higher). Please continue to use 000 for emergencies
requiring Police, Ambulance or Fire.

Equipment
Recently all members of our unit have been issued with new personal protective equipment (PPE). Our old style safety helmets have been replaced with Kevlar safety helmets, with integrated visors and ear muffs, as well as new overalls with improved reflective tapes and padded knees. New wet weather equipment has also been issued ensuring that we will all remain dry during the upcoming storm season!
