Welcome to Bacchus Marsh SES
The Bacchus Marsh Unit of the State Emergency Service (SES) is the main Rescue provider for the shire of Moorabool. Our Unit is based in the township of Bacchus Marsh and provides numerous emergency response services to the residents of Moorabool. We provide a General Rescue service to all areas of Moorabool shire and Road Rescue response to Bacchus Marsh and surrounding communities. The unit is made up of proud volunteers, who dedicate their time at day or night, to create ‘A Safer Community’.
Our Unit responds to numerous emergency situations such as Road Rescue, Storm Damage, Flood, Search and Rescue (both land and marine), 4x4 Recovery and various requests for help from CFA, Police and Ambulance.
Bacchus Marsh SES also has a long history of expertise in Road Rescue Challenges. Over the years, numerous teams have represented our country at competitions throughout the world. The skills and knowledge learnt in these competitions is shared between our unit, ensuring our response is of the highest possible standard every time we receive a call.
