Old Sydney Town is a Napoleonic era event held at a recreated historic village "theme park" near Sydney, NSW. The village management and the Sydney-based 73rd Regiment of Foot combine to host Napoleonic and Regency re-enactors from around Australia over the four day Easter weekend. Re-enactors from the 42nd, 73rd, and 95th British Regiments, the Royal Marines and the French 21st Regiment are accommodated in village houses or soldiers' barracks on the site, and are encouraged to remain in character 24 hours a day.

Through the period, the re-enactors participate in theme park events as well as providing battle tactics displays and living history demonstrations for the visiting public. A small redoubt in the fields adjacent to the village provides opportunity for opposed skirmishing and assaults.

The village, including horses, wagons and bullock teams provides an exceptional backdrop for the regiments and their families during the day. In the evenings, the candle-lit cottages and smokey tavern evoke an era now lost to electricity and the motor car.
