1. Forest Kingfisher. The aviaries gave a a close-up view of some of the birds that had already been seen in the wild.
2. In the absence of fire, some of the woodlands in the fauna park are reverting to monsoon forest.
3. A tethered Barking Owl was a centre of interest.
4. Termite Mound, Humpty Doo. This stop gave an opportunity to see some of the township's vegetation. At the fauna park, we were told of the value of powdered termite nest as a cure for diarrhoea
