Naturalists who do not live near an field naturalists club are able to join the South-east Australian Naturalists' Association as a lone member.

Lone members will

• Receive notices of campouts and other meetings
• Be able to functions of SEANA
• Have a chance to meet with other naturalists from around SE Australia
• Be shown areas of interest that are not readily accessible by tourists
• Be part of the Australia-wide field naturalists movement
• Attend activities of the Australian Naturalists Network.
