Victorian Open Water Swimming Calendar
Welcome to the 2008-2009 Casey Seals Open Water Swimming Calendar. This is the most comprehensive source of information for open water swimming events in Victoria each year.
The calendar lists the main open water swimming events in Victoria for the 2008-2009 summer season. The races are held at various beaches around Port Phillip Bay, Westernport Bay and the Victorian open ocean beaches from early December through to mid-March. There are even a couple of swims in rivers and lakes.
The calendar was compiled from various sources, including the Cousins Tours & Travel and Ocean Swims open water swimming calendars and the websites of the organisations running the swims. Most event organisers have not yet finalised or published the dates for their events. Most flyers and event details are published around October so please keep checking back regularly for updates as more events get added or more details are known.
