Jenny's illness was very sudden and therefore many of the members of the club and readers of the Seahorse Times will be unaware that she was even unwell.

As you read the pages of the Seahorse Times this month, you will read some articles that were written prior to her passing. As acting editor I made the decision not to alter these articles at the last minute as they describe events as they were happening and give insight to feelings and emotions of people writing them including Jenny herself.

There is also a lighthearted advertisement for a new editor which Jenny would have had a great laugh at. It seemed wrong to remove it as we laughed with her in life so I am sure she would not want it be any different now that she is no longer with us.

Jenny was very open about the cancer that had invaded her body and very determined that it would not be her downfall. Sadly this was not to be. She will be greatly by all who knew her and our lives are all brighter for having known her. To her family we send our sincerest condolences and best wishes.
