Come join the Southern Dandenongs Community Nursery in a National Tree Day planting.

Since 1995 SDCN and the community have planted over 40,000 trees and shrubs along the Monbulk Creek corridor linking Dandenong Ranges National Park and Lysterfield Park. Let’s keep this important work going.

Where : Meet at the nursery located at 271 Mt Morton Rd Belgrave Heights (Birdsland Reserve) (Melways map 84 A2 – next to the Environmental Education Centre)
When : Sunday 31st July 2011
Time : 9.30 am-12.30 pm
Bring : Warm clothes & rainwear if required and strong boots or gumboots. Planting tools provided.
Note : the planting site along Monbulk Creek is located a 20 minute walk from the nursery. Groups with plants and tools will leave the nursery for the planting site at 9.30 am, 9.45 am and 10.00 am.
A light lunch for planters of Dandenong Ranges & Yarra Valley food and drinks will be provided at the nursery after the planting.

Please register your interest for organising and catering to the SDCN email address at sthndandenongscommunitynursery@gmail.com.
