Growth to incorporate Baxter andTyabb

A public meeting has been organized for 12th October, 2006 at 7.30pm.  Somerville Recreation Centre, Edward Street (behind Plaza)

The Somerville community needs to discuss the issues of importance in the town, engage in brainstorming sessions and formulate strategies for future development with the Somerville and possibly Baxter and Tyabb communities.

MPSC are looking at a needs assessment document.

Given that this is a census year, a large portion of a MPS Council Needs Assessment for Somerville is regarded as a total waste of time and money.  With the census and the survey carried out last year, STIC agreed that a MPS Council Needs Assessment of requirements have been met.  STIC is happy to extended the survey under specific MPS Council requirements which will result in a more accurate and less time consuming exercise at no cost to the community or the MPSC.
