Code of Non-Violent Conduct

• I acknowledge that the purpose of this protest is to register opposition to holding any motorised racing at Albert Park.
• I will at all times act in a non-violent manner. I will not inflict physical or verbal violence against any person or property at any time.
• I will act at all times in accordance with the instructions of the Save Albert Park organisers of this demonstration including any instructions by Save Albert Park to withdraw.
• I will treat all persons with respect (including workers, police and media). I will treat police dogs and police horses with respect.
• I recognise that Save Albert Park will support people who are arrested to the very best of its ability. At the same time I realise there may be a limit to that help. Therefore, I accept that the decision to be arrested is ultimately my own responsibility.
• I will not bring or use alcohol or illegal substances at any Save Albert Park protest.
• No children under 16 or pets are to be involved in protest action in the park.
• All communications with workers or police to be conducted only by SAP appointed representatives.
• If I am not prepared at any stage to abide by this code of conduct I will voluntarily withdraw from the demonstration.
